About the Role As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality care across a busy, diverse department. You’ll contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of medical staff, be actively involved in service development, and participate in patient safety and quality initiatives. This department provides a stimulating case mix, with: 50,000 presentations annually 25% paediatric presentations Significant trauma exposure Regional referral centre responsibilities, including aeromedical retrievals and telehealth support for rural hospitals Access to a 15-bed Short Stay Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, and modern imaging services Opportunities also exist to contribute to the planning of a brand-new Emergency Department , offering you a chance to help shape the future of emergency care for the region.
